Anonymous asked: I have never really liked beer.... at all (I follow this blog for some beer loving friends so I can tell them about your posts and attempt to relate to them about beer). I think my tastebuds just don't like the taste of hops or something. But, I mean, I want to give beer a real chance since I have close friends who really really enjoy it (and rag on me about not liking it). Any tips for getting into beer? Is it possible?

There’s definitely a beer out there for everyone, you may just have to look a bit harder to find it. We’re going to put together a full introduction for the hesitant soon. In the meantime, I’d suggest checking out our article on fruit lambics and milk stouts, two delicious styles which are low in hops.

tuchler814 asked: When I was in Paris, I fell in love with this beer called 1664. Super light, pretty fruity. I have been on a quest since my return to find something remotely similar, but to no avail. Could you help?

That’s Kronenbourg 1664, France’s most popular lager. It’s a little tougher to find, but it is available in the USA. Ask the clerk at your local craft beer store if they carry it, and if they don’t ask if they could order some; many of the nicer beer stores will glad do so if you ask.
